Jeff Hardy Wants Brock Lesnar

Jeff Hardy Wants Brock Lesnar

Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy spoke with The Five Count recently about who he would want to face in a singles bout before he decides to eventually hang up his boots.

Hardy has faced the likes of Randy Orton, Triple H and John Cena in WWE, but says the one person he would want to go one-on-one with before he retires is the reigning Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Hardy said ”I’ve pretty much wrestled everybody I’ve ever dreamt of wrestling, but before I’m done, I’d love to have a one-on-one match with Brock Lesnar.”

Hardy has actually been in the ring with ‘The Beast’ before. Just after Brock Lesnar debuted, he teamed with Paul Heyman to face Jeff and his brother Matt. On that note Hardy said. “One more time with [Lesnar], cause he’s a maniac, freak athlete that I would love to get in there with one more time before I’m done.”

Hardy said that other then Lesnar, his dream opponent would ”for sure” have to be the first-ever inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, Andre the Giant. Hardy would also go on to add that aside from wrestling, ”I would like to have one hit song on the radio before I’m gone, that’s it.”

Only time will tell if the ‘Charismatic Enigma’ Jeff Hardy will be able to face Brock Lesnar before he retires, but with Lesnar’s future with WWE in question with a return to the UFC on his mind, and with Hardy’s career winding down after years of injuries, this match most likely won’t take place. But with everything in WWE, never say never.
