WWE star Jeff Hardy has discussed a concept for a cinematic match he wants to have against the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Usos.
Jeff Hardy has featured in a handful of these unique matches in recent years. Speaking with Wrestling Inside The Ropes, Hardy explained that he wrote a bunch of ideas for cinematic bouts down years ago.
Running with his “Usos’ penitentiary” idea, Hardy said:
“I think, cinematically, one of my biggest dream matches was with The Usos because they got their penitentiary thing. Like, to go to an old, rundown prison that you can go tour for paranormal activity or whatever, but go and have a match with The Usos in a haunted old prison.
“I got that match in my hand, and I think I wrote a bunch of ideas down years ago. That’s still one of the things I would really love to do. I think that can be extremely cool.”
On the most recent episode of Raw, Jeff Hardy was involved in a 24/7 Championship segment. Hardy has commented on the angle, stating that he’s excited for his future.
