WWE Hall Of Famer Makes Shocking AEW Debut AEW

A WWE Hall of Famer who recently departed the company made his shocking AEW debut on tonight’s (November 2) episode of AEW Dynamite.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite show kicked off with the grudge match between Darby Allin and Jay Lethal following weeks of animosity between the two, with Lethal saying that he knows a man who knows Darby’s weakness.

To end the match, a man came out with a Sting mask and jacket on, hitting Darby with a baseball bat, allowing Lethal to score the win. The man was revealed to be Cole Karter, the former Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan from NXT, who had been a part of the Factory.

After the reveal, Sting’s theme hit, but instead of Sting, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett appeared behind Darby, laying him out with a guitar shot before cutting a promo on Darby and AEW.

Jarrett had served as WWE’s senior vice president of live events following the change in WWE regime back in July, but departed the company shortly after, with the role now being taken up by Road Dogg Brian James.

Jarrett has appeared for AEW, GCW and WWE in the year 2022.

He served as the special guest referee for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between the Usos and the Street Profits back at SummerSlam in Nashville.
