Je’Von Evans WWE Injury Update After Raw Match Stoppage WWE

An update has emerged regarding Je’Von Evans’ status after his match on WWE Raw was called off early.

The January 19 episode of WWE Raw saw the “Young OG” Je’Von Evans take on El Grande Americano in singles action, however, during a commercial break Evans appeared to have suffered an injury of some kind, which forced the match to be stopped abruptly.

While Evans could be seen clutching his arm and later his chest as he was escorted from ringside by WWE’s medical team, Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that WWE actually stopped the match due to fears the 21-year-old had suffered a concussion.

However, WWE’s medical team later determined that Evans had not in fact suffered a concussion like initially feared.

Alvarez said:

“The match was stopped because they feared he had suffered a concussion…

“They apparently checked him out and they’re allowing him to fly, so apparently it’s not a concussion they decided.”
