WWE NXT star Je’Von Evans has commented on his current position in the company, reflecting on his past year.
With rumors swirling about Je’Von Evans’ next move, the rising star has looked back on his 2025 with the company.
Speaking with Fox News Digital, Je’Von Evans noted that he didn’t expect to have this much success so early in his WWE career, noting:
“It’s insane, honestly. I wasn’t expecting all of this to happen so soon.
“But I’ve been working hard, and trying to prove that I belong here in WWE.
“And I guess this is the reward. So, yeah, it’s a blessing. I’m honored that this is all happening for me.”
Discussing his hopes for the new year, he continued:
“I think that my 2025 was just full of opportunities and blessings that in 2026 I want, not the same, but better.
“I’m grateful for what I received in 2025. So, I’m just waiting on everything to fall in line in 2026.”
Je’Von Evans was one of several NXT stars featured in exhibition matches at the December 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event special, with Evans and TNA star Leon Slater facing WWE World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
An interesting update emerged on Je’Von Evan’s status with the company during the December 22 Raw episode, where he was described as a “soon-to-be free agent”.
