The real reason Je’Von Evans signing with WWE Raw wasn’t shown on the US broadcast of Monday’s show has been revealed.
Je’Von Evans joined the list of NXT stars recently called up to the main roster on January 5, with it announced during the taping that Evans was officially joining the red brand.
The segment – which saw Raw General Manager Adam Pearce hand Evans a contract to sign full-time with the brand – took place during the commercial break, meaning that only certain territories got to see this moment as part of the live broadcast.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider provided further insight on this decision during a Q&A session.
In response to a fan asking why would WWE not show Je’Von Evans’ signing segment on Raw, Johnson stated that WWE wanted to present this segment as a YouTube exclusive.
Evans has made a number of main roster appearances in recent weeks, notably teaming with TNA’s Leon Slater against AJ Styles & Dragon Lee at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025.
Other stars recently called up from NXT include Trick Williams and Jordynne Grace, who both wrestled their first matches as official SmackDown stars on January 9.
