What Happened With Jey Uso After Losing Championship On WWE Raw WWE

Here’s what happened with Jey Uso after WWE Raw went off the air, after losing the World Heavyweight Championship.

The main event of the June 9 show saw Jey Uso put his gold on the line against the man he defeated for the championship at WrestleMania 41, GUNTHER.

The Ring General was ultimately victorious, taking Uso out with a sleeper hold to become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion.

The show went off the air with GUNTHER celebrating in the ring, and Jey Uso on the ground.

After the cameras stopped rolling, Jey got back into the ring and addressed the fans, as you can see in the footage below.

Jey Uso introduced his son Jayce to the crowd, noting that he’s so glad that he was there tonight, even though he lost.

He apologised to his son and everyone for losing the title match, before praising GUNTHER, noting:

“GUNTHER is that dude, one of the best athletes, one of the best pros I’ve ever stepped into the ring with.

“At the end of the day, I’ve got hella respect for that man. Give it up for GUNTHER.”

Jey Uso then told the crowd that they were lit, and that he wished everyone got to experience what it was like to walk through the curtains and make an entrance.

He concluded by noting that he appreciates parents’ hard work to bring their families to WWE shows, and told the kids in the audience to tell their parents that they love them, and that even simple things like picking up after themselves means a lot.

He then YEET-ed with the crowd as his music played.

Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Championship reign ended after 51 days, following defences against Seth Rollins and Logan Paul.
