Jey Uso Confirms Paul Heyman WWE Status Amid TV Absence WWE

WWE star Jey Uso has confirmed the status of Paul Heyman amid his ongoing absence from television.

On last Friday’s SmackDown, Roman Reigns attempted to reach out to his Wiseman Paul Heyman on the phone, only to be met by a recorded message saying: “the number you have reached is not in service”.

With WarGames looming, fans are questioning when we will next see Heyman on TV, and whether he will return to Reigns and the OG Bloodline’s side.

Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat, Jey Uso revealed that Heyman is still “behind-the-scenes” in WWE despite being off TV at present.

Jey said:

“The Wiseman is really the Wiseman to my family. He’s been around my family more than 50 years. He is behind the scenes a lot. He does produce, even when he’s not on TV, he’s there. All the backstage stuff, ‘Say this. Maybe say it like this. Do this. Do that.’

“He has a brain for this business. Being around him damn near five years almost every day, I’m glad he’s still around. I’m glad he’s close to my family, and I’m just glad to have him on our side.

“He’s a big player to vouch for you and push for you. Any problem we have, we go to him. He makes it happen for my family. We love him.”

We will provide any updates on Heyman’s WWE TV return as/when they become available.

Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn and a yet to be determined final teammate will take on Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed inside WarGames at Survivor Series on November 30.

Raw star Damian Priest recently revealed a conversation he had with Heyman following a recent Raw promo – click here for full details.
