With Cody Rhodes appearing on the Grayson Waller Effect at WWE Payback tonight, he revealed a big scoop in the form of Jey Uso’s return.

Explaining that he saw something recently on SmackDown that he really felt needed to be rectified, Cody said that he used all the political power and sway he had to make something happen.

Also noting he hoped to not regret the move, he introduced fans to the newest member of the Monday Night Raw roster: Jey Uso!

‘Main Event’ Jey Uso then appeared, much to the joy of the crowd, and while Grayson Waller seemed to have a bit of questioning for him… but there were no answers available.

Instead Jey superkicked Grayson Waller and asserted himself as very much back in the fold in WWE.

With Cody Rhodes looking on, somewhat tentatively, the way this full storyline plays out remains to be seen but adds a brand new element to the flagship Monday night show, and theoretically keeps Jey away from Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns on SmackDown, although WWE is obviously known to be very loose with its brand split.
