WWE Bloodline Family Member Wants To Challenge The Rock

Jey Uso has revealed that he wants the opportunity to go toe-to-toe with The Rock when it comes to promos in WWE.

With The Rock in cahoots with John Cena after the March 1, 2025, WWE Elimination Chamber, the possibility could arise as it was Jey Uso who eliminated Cena to win the men’s Royal Rumble match.

During an interview with the Daily Mail, Uso revealed that he would like to bring his promo skills to The Rock in a WWE ring, saying:

“I want to get in there. I would like to go toe to toe in a promo with him.

“I know The Rock is good like that but I feel like I’m new school with mine, I’m really in it. I’m really out there like that.”

Uso would also note that he could leverage his familial connection in any promo battle having had to do so with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso previously, explaining:

“Rock is very believable. He can be entertaining and all that, but I feel like I can bring some different kind of emotions from The Rock – family always hit different.

“I didn’t know I could do it with Roman, with my brothers, so I would like to test those waters.”

With Uso having been the one to eliminate Cena at the Royal Rumble, he also revealed that he found out about the plans on the day of the WWE PLE.

Uso would also discuss how he wants to make his WrestleMania 41 match against GUNTHER one to remember.

With the WrestleMania 41 match taking place on either April 19 or 20, 2025, Uso stated that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

At WrestleMania 41, Uso faces GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship, with the Ring General having promised hell in the run-up to the event.
