After winning the 2025 men’s WWE Royal Rumble match, Jey Uso has confirmed which champion he wants to challenge at WrestleMania 41.
Uso entered the Rumble match at #20, and made it all the way to the final two with John Cena.
With many fans expecting Cena to win, it was actually Uso who scored the upset and earn a championship match at WrestleMania.
In a post-show interview, Jey Uso confirmed he wants to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41.
The current World Heavyweight Champion is GUNTHER, who Uso has never beaten in matches for both the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Championships.
Most recently, GUNTHER retained the title against Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event just one week before tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble show.
Of course, the other option for Uso would be Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Reports in recent weeks have indicated that the plan for Rhodes at WrestleMania is for him to defend against John Cena, hence many fans expecting Cena to win tonight.
However, Cena is being heavily promoted for the Elimination Chamber event on March 1, so if he wins the Chamber match, that could be his route to challenging Cena.
