Jim Ross Reveals ‘Best In History Of Pro Wrestling’ Benefit AEW Offers UFC

Jim Ross recently revealed what benefit that AEW offers their talent that makes coming over very attractive to many free agents.

Speaking on his Grillin’ JR podcast, Jim Ross commented on one major benefit of working for AEW versus other notable promotions – the schedule.

Ross expanded on why the structure of AEW is beneficial to attracting top talent, saying:

“AEW, we don’t even do the house shows. Our guys work a travel day and a production day, so they’ve got one of the best schedules in the history of pro wrestling, and are making good money in AEW, and their longevity is going to increase, I think we’ll see. I think what’s always going to be great for us, as far as recruiting talent, is the fact that we’ve got a schedule that’s family-friendly for the talent. [It’s the] first time ever.”

Compared to the historically grueling touring schedule described by many WWE stars (which for some can include multiple television tapings in addition to travelling to local live shows in between), JR isn’t kidding when it comes to the family-friendly benefits for talent!

AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest continues into Week 2 with a Shark Week themed edition of the program.

The Barbed Wire Everywhere Match between Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston with the Jericho Appreciation Society suspended in a shark cage in homage to the beloved annual Discovery Channel event, the first explicit crossover between AEW and their network partners’ new post-merger parent company, Warner Brothers Discovery.
