Jim Ross Says Some AEW Stars Are In Dangerous Comfort Zone

Over the last month or so, it has been revealed by legendary commentator Jim Ross that AEW was planning to start running house shows before the Coronavirus pandemic.

Unsurprisingly, it seems like Ross is a big advocate for trying to make some of the AEW roster work more, as he has recently accused some of being in a “dangerous comfort zone”.

On the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross spoke about how wrestlers keep themselves in shape, and Ross stated that working every day was key to that.

The WWE Hall of Famer went on to add that this was a pretty big concern for him for AEW as the only run shows once a week, and now film fortnightly due to COVID-19.

JR went on to add that not working every day may have left some of the current AEW roster in a “dangerous comfort zone”. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

They work every day. That’s one of my biggest concerns with AEW. It’s the fact that I don’t believe that a lot of the talents that we have get to work enough. And some of them are making enough money that they don’t want to work anymore. They’re in a comfort zone which is a dangerous area to me.

Of course, it’s not the fault of the AEW roster that they don’t have a facility like the Performance Center and don’t have house shows to run like WWE right now.
