Jim Ross Sends A Message To Big Cass

Jim Ross Sends A Message To Big Cass

Big Cass was released from his WWE contract on Tuesday, just hours before SmackDown was due to air.

While rumours and speculation surround the real true reason for his departure, it does seem it was on bad terms, as Cass WWE’s official statement on his release didn’t include the usual “we wish them luck on their future endeavors”.

As of writing there has yet to be any word from Cass on what his next plan of action may be. However, this hasn’t stopped fellow pro wrestling moguls sending their well wishes and kind words. One such icon was Hall of Famer, good ol’ JR who commented about the whole Cass situation on his PodCast; The Ross Report:

“I saw where Big Cass got released. I don’t know what it was, I have no idea and it’s none of my business. Hey look, I have had three sabbaticals from that company. Did I like it? Nope. Did it ruin my life and my career? Hell no.”

Ross believes that Cass is listed in the small category of people that could make a return somewhere down the line. Plenty of people have taken time away from WWE and used it to hone their craft and build themselves up to a higher standard. Drew McIntyre is a perfect example of this. However, the Hall of Famer did share some wise words to share with the seven-foot (6ft 10ins) tall New Yorker on what his next course of action should be:

“So all he’s gotta do is figure out how I can get better how I can cure the perceived ills that I may or may not have. Your world’s not over. Don’t say anything stupid, don’t do anything stupid just get better. You’re too damn young with too much of an upside to not be able to resurrect yourself without question. Let’s keep an eye on how Big Cass progresses.”
