The Usos Reach Another Impressive WWE Milestone

The Usos Reach Another Impressive WWE Milestone WWE

Jimmy and Jey Uso have now hit a new milestone as tag-team champions, amid their ongoing Bloodline storyline.

The Usos currently hold both the Raw and SmackDown tag titles, and have defended them both separately, and also together as the unified WWE Tag Team Championship.

The brothers notably defeated RK-Bro to become double champions in May 2022, in a Raw vs SmackDown tag-team championship winner takes all bout.

Jimmy and Jey had previously won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship from Rey and Dominik Mysterio on July 18, 2021 at that year’s Money in the Bank premium live event.

The Usos have now passed 600 days as champions. This is over triple the length of the second longest SmackDown Tag Team Championship reign, an 182 stint with the gold from 2017 to 2018 which also belonged to The Usos.

The Bloodline members officially became the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time on November 14, 2022.

On this date, they passed the record of 483 days previously set by Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of the New Day, who set the record with the championship currently recognised as the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Both Jimmy and Jey appeared on the March 10 edition of SmackDown, following Jey Uso turning on Sami Zayn on the March 6 episode of Raw.

On Friday’s show, Zayn and Cody Rhodes joined forces to attack The Usos.
