R-Truth regained his WWE 24/7 Championship from Elias on Smackdown last week after some help from Roman Reigns. This made Truth the first two-time champion.
However, his second stint as champion was cut somewhat sort after Truth was ambushed by former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal whilst relaxing on a golf course with Carmella on Sunday. WWE shared the footage on their various social media sites.
However, Jinder’s reign was even more short-lived, with Truth pinning Mahal and subsequently regaining his title before fleeing with Carmella in a golf buggy. Truth’s latest win makes him now a three-time WWE 24/7 Champion.

This sure makes sense, as it has been reported this week that WWE was looking to have the title defended between shows on social media.
