Joe Hendry Shares WWE Gift Commemorating WrestleMania 41 Appearance WWE

Former TNA Wrestling World Champion Joe Hendry has shared a gift that WWE sent him to commemorate his appearance at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, NV.

At WWE WrestleMania 41 Night Two, Randy Orton issued an open challenge that was answered by then TNA World Champion Joe Hendry.

The Scottish star received one of the biggest ovations of the weekend, and while his match with Orton was brief in length, it was a history-making moment – with Hendry becoming the first star under TNA contract to compete at WrestleMania.

On June 29, Hendry took to Twitter to reveal that WWE sent him a special framed picture commemorating his appearance at WrestleMania.

After receiving the gift back home in Scotland, Hendry wrote:

This made its way to Scotland

Thank you @WWE

President of Anthem Sports Group Carlos Silva also commented on WWE’s gesture, thanking Triple H and WWE for bringing the TNA World Championship to WrestleMania:

Was a great moment for Joe!

Thanks @TripleH and @WWE for bringing the @ThisIsTNA belt to the biggest stage in wrestling.

Hendry lost the TNA World Championship to NXT star Trick Williams at WWE Battleground on May 25, but will get an opportunity to regain it at TNA Slammiversary on July 20 when he and Trick face off.

At the time of writing, Williams vs. Hendry is set to be a one-on-one match, however Mike Santana staked a claim to be added to the match after defeating AJ Francis on this week’s iMPACT.
