Tonight, Joe Hendry made his WWE singles debut and then made a big revelation about his future in the company.
Set for his first singles match in WWE, Joe Hendry had the Performance Center fans squarely behind him in his match against Joe Coffey on tonight’s NXT.
After Gallus were thrown out of ringside following some early interference, Joe Hendry picked up the win against Joe Coffey and secured his first WWE singles victory.
In a post-match interview with Joe Hendry in the ring, when asked what’s next for him, he said:
“I like it here and I might just stay for a lot longer”.
There was a heavy emphasis on the “a lot longer” which you can see in the clip below.
Hendry also said that he will be back at NXT on next Tuesday’s show (August 13), and that in the future, you wouldn’t even need to say his name for him to appear – he just will.
Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of NXT, Kelani Jordan retained her NXT Women’s North American Championship in a match against Tatum Paxley.
After the match, Paxley was attacked by a recent ally, which you can read more about by clicking here.
