TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has commented on his Royal Rumble appearances sharing messages for both John Cena and Roman Reigns.
With many fans believing Joe Hendry would show up, the TNA Wrestling star ultimately entered the Royal Rumble in the #15 spot.
Hendry lasted for three and a half minutes in the match before getting eliminated by former WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
During a backstage interview, Joe Hendry sent messages to both Roman Reigns and John Cena, who he’s been lobbying for a match against for some time.
The TNA World Champion said:
“Roman Reigns, congrats, you threw Joe Hendry over the top, and I’m willing to bet this isn’t the last time that you and I cross paths.
“But before I go, I do wanna share a little bit of knowledge that was bestowed on me by one John Cena.
“He gave me four words, and it was ‘fortune favors the bold’. So here I am, boldly saying John Cena’s name.”
