Former AEW star Joey Janela has responded to criticism on his recent fire spot on the GCW Maniac show from Booker T.
As previously noted, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T criticised Janela for the fire superkick incident at a GCW event, calling it the “stupidest” thing he’s ever seen.
The former AEW star has responded to the criticism on Twitter, jokingly saying:
Sheesh coming from the guy who also had fire on his gear for half his career..
Janela then did admit that: “Also booker is correct”.

Joey Janela was facing Drew Parker at the GCW Maniac event and set his own foot on fire before performing a superkick with him along with the official being unable to put the fire out afterwards.
