John Cena has addressed the fans at WWE Superstar Spectacle in India.
On the September 1 edition of WWE SmackDown, John Cena made his return to the company for the first time since Money In The Bank.
Cena had a brief confrontation with Jimmy Uso that ended with the former Bloodline member receiving an Attitude Adjustment.
The 16-time world champion followed this appearance with a tag team match alongside World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins against Imperium’s Ludvig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci for WWE’s trip to India for Superstar Spectacle on Friday, September 8.
After the match, John Cena got on the mic (via @JohnCenaCrews on Twitter/X) to address the crowd in attendance at the show and stated that he dreamed of competing in India for 20 years. He said:
“Can you guys hear me in the back? Because I can sure as hell hear you guys. I just want everybody to be able to hear what I’m saying.”
“It’s brief, but what I have to say tonight means a whole heck of a lot to me. Thank you for allowing me to be here tonight.”
“Sometimes, when we feel something inside, it grabs us emotionally, and we feel like we’re alone. I want to share this with y’all.”
“You can let me know if I’m alone or not, but I’m gonna share it anyway. I’ve been imagining this moment right here for 20 years.”
“I wanted to end tonight by saying this moment was far greater than I could’ve ever imagined.”
John Cena also appeared on WWE Payback as the special guest host and served as special guest referee for LA Knight vs. The Miz.
Cena will continue to appear on WWE programming through the month of October.
