A new clip from the upcoming Peacemaker HBO series, staring John Cena, was released during San Diego Comic-Con Special Edition.
During the clip, Peacemaker (Cena) argues with hospital janitor Jamil (Rizwan Manji), who doesn’t believe he’s a superhero. During the confrontation, Cena argues he’s famous, before taking a shot at Jason Momoa’s Aquaman.

The series, set to premiere on HBO Max on January 13, 2022, is a spin-off from DC’s The Suicide Squad, which hit cinemas in the summer. The first season will have eight episodes focusing on the origin of Peacemaker, who ‘believes in peace no matter the cost.’
