16 time WWE World Champion John Cena has shared a nod to a notable spot that took place during a match at AEW All Out.
At the September 4 pay-per-view, Swerve In Our Glory defended their AEW Tag Team Championship against The Acclaimed.
During the bout, Max Caster hit Keith Lee with an Attitude Adjustment in a spot that many fans compared to John Cena’s AAs to ‘the Big Show’ Paul Wight.
Cena has now shared a shot of this moment to Instagram. The former WWE star uses his account to post images without explanation, but Cena definitely acknowledged Caster’s homage.
Cena and Caster have previously interacted online, with Cena notably reacting to Max Caster mentioning Vince McMahon on the August 3 edition of AEW Dynamite.
In the main event of All Out, CM Punk defeated Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. In the closing moments of the show, MJF revealed that he was the ‘joker’ entrant who had won the Casino ladder match earlier in the night.
