WWE Legend Believes Roman Reigns Is The Greatest Of All Time

A WWE legend believes that Roman Reigns is the greatest of all time.

In the summer of 2021, John Cena made his return to WWE after over a year and kickstarted a feud with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This led to a SummerSlam showdown that saw Reigns defeat Cena in the main event to retain his title.

The two men previously feuded in 2017 when Roman was still dealing with a polarizing reaction from the fans and Cena called him out for his faults at getting over as the new top star.

Since their SummerSlam 2021 match, Reigns has since won the WWE Champion and is now the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He is also the longest reigning top champion for the company since Hulk Hogan in the 1980s.

During a new interview with the AP News, John Cena praised Roman Reigns for his unbelievable run. He said:

“But when I’m there as a performer, it’s Roman Reigns’ show. In my mind, he needs to be in the conversation, and in my mind, he’s the greatest of all time.”

As previously reported, Cena also addressed Vince McMahon’s sexual misconduct allegations during this same interview.

Roman Reigns is set to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39 next month.

Paul Heyman announced that Reigns will appear on the March 20 edition of WWE Raw to confront Rhodes ahead of their WrestleMania encounter.

Meanwhile, John Cena will make his in-ring return for the first time since SummerSlam 2021 to face Austin Theory for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39.
