John Cena does not appear to be a fan of his early acting performances, calling them an absolute failure.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Cena talked about having to change his perception of acting after doing so many bad movies. Here is the quote, courtesy of WrestleZone:
“I had to change my perception and that came after tremendous failure. I thought after all those bad movies I was done. Fifteen years later I got a second chance at the movie business and we are talking about Fast 9. But that comes from absolute fall on your face failure.”
Prior to 2015, all of Cena’s films had been produced by WWE Studios. However, since 2015 he has appeared in major films such as Trainwreck, Sisters, Blockers and Bumblebee.
John Cena will have major roles in upcoming films F9 and The Suicide Squad.
