John Cena Called Out By WWE Star After Retirement Announcement WWE

An absent WWE star has issued a challenge to John Cena, following the announcement of the former world champion’s retirement tour.

John Cena officially announced his retirement at Saturday’s (July 7) Money in the Bank premium live event, revealing that he will wrestle his last matches throughout 2025.

Cena confirmed that he will be in action between January and December next year, with the Hollywood star noting that he’ll be at Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41.

While Cena’s opponents for his retirement tour haven’t yet been revealed, Omos has now taken to Twitter to call out the WWE legend.

Wanting to face off against John Cena, Omos tweeted:

GIVE ME CENA!!!!

Omos and John Cena have yet to share a WWE ring.

Omos hasn’t wrestled since competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5 edition of SmackDown.

This actually means that John Cena has wrestled more recently than Omos, with Cena teaming with R-Truth and The Miz to defeat Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day on the April 8 Raw episode.

While Omos wrestled in numerous dark and house show matches prior to April 2023, his most recent televised match which wasn’t a Royal Rumble or battle royal saw him lose to Seth Rollins at the May 2023 Backlash event.
