John Cena Addresses ‘Hypocrite’ CM Punk Wrestling In Saudi Arabia On WWE SmackDown WWE

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena has addressed CM Punk wrestling in Saudi Arabia on tonight’s SmackDown show.

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, the rivalry between John Cena and CM Punk was reignited, with Punk confronting WWE Champion John Cena after his match at WWE Money In The Bank.

At the end of the segment, Cena told Punk that if he wanted to face him for the title, he would need to follow him to Saudi Arabia to face him at WWE Night of Champions.

Punk had been outspoken about the company’s Saudi Arabia shows in his years away from the company, and he has yet to compete on one since his return to the company in November 2023.

To kick off tonight’s SmackDown show, John Cena came to the ring, where he broke down how his retirement tour has been one ‘master plan’ so far, including goading Punk into accepting a match in Saudi Arabia.

On Punk wrestling in Saudi Arabia, Cena said:

“I used CM Punk’s rebellious nature and sociopathic self confidence to back him into a corner where now, if CM Punk really wants to take this, he has to admit to himself that he’s a hypocrite.”

The WWE Night of Champions premium live event is set to take place on June 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
