WWE Champion John Cena has shared one final message before facing off against CM Punk at Night of Champions.
With Punk set to challenge for Cena’s gold at the June 28 premium live event, it appears that this main event will be the final ever clash between the two rivals, with Cena retiring at the end of the year.
Following a much-talked-about match build, Cena has now taken to social media to comment on this showdown, with just hours to go until the show.
John Cena first took to Instagram – where he posts without captions and context – to share a photo of the Michael Jordan: The Last Dance graphic.
Cena vs Punk has been referred to as one last dance on several occasions, including by Cena during his most recent Twitter post.
The 17-time WWE Champion took to Twitter to share a graphic for the upcoming match, writing:
WWE Undisputed Championship. The Greatest of All Time. The Best in the World. One last dance. Tonight!
This comes after CM Punk parodying John Cena’s Dr of Thuganomics character on the June 27 SmackDown episode.
