WWE Star Believes John Cena Doesn’t Want Him To Be His Final Opponent

A WWE star believes that John Cena is hoping he gets eliminated from the Last Time Is Now tournament, following his opening round win.

With the first round of the tournament set to determine John Cena’s final opponent approaching its end, there are now limited options regarding who will compete in the 17-time world champion’s final bout.

Speaking with Busted Open, Sheamus noted that he’s preparing to bring the physicality to the retiring star, after advancing in the tournament following a win over Shinsuke Nakamura on November 10.

Believing that John Cena doesn’t want to face him at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, Sheamus said:

“If the GOAT of all GOATs is going to go out, I’m sure everyone wants to see him go out with the banger of all bangers. I don’t think he’s had the banger of all bangers yet, but I know I can give it to him.

“I’m not afraid of him, I have a lot of respect for John, but I’ll make John step up, I’ll make John fight.

“In truth, I don’t think John wants this. I don’t think John wants this physicality. I think John’s hoping I go out (of the tournament). I think John’s probably going, ‘Somebody put Sheamus out of this tournament please, because I don’t want that physicality, I don’t want those shots, I don’t want those hits.’

“He knows I’m gonna keep coming, slap me in the face, kick me in the face, do whatever you’ve got to do man, I love it. It’s like I absorb the energy of those shots and I just want to go more and more and more. And guess what, John? You will f**king see me, dude. I’m right here and I’ll see you, mate.”
