WWE Intercontinental Champion John Cena has confirmed his plans for his final appearance on Monday Night Raw.
With the November 17 episode set to be John Cena’s final WWE Raw as an active competitor, there has been a lot of speculation about his plans for next week’s show.
Following Netflix indicating that John Cena would be in action on the show, John Cena has confirmed that he will wrestle at the Madison Square Garden event.
The 17-time world champion took to Twitter to build hype for his final Raw match, writing:
“Over 23 years you’ve allowed me to have 544 matches on #WWERaw. The most in WWE history. My favorite match.. is my next one! Which will be our LAST ONE!
“Don’t miss our last chance to grace @TheGarden ring as we say farewell to RAW live, Monday night on @netflix at 8pm ET!”
Cena’s opponent for WWE Raw hasn’t yet been announced.
John Cena last wrestled on the November 10 Raw episode, defeating Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship, and become a WWE Grand Slam winner.
His retirement match is slated for the December 13 Saturday Night’s Main Event special, with the ongoing WWE Last Time is Now tournament set to determine his final opponent.
