John Cena Final WWE Raw Plans Update

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has provided an update regarding John Cena’s final-ever appearance on WWE’s flagship brand tomorrow night.

With just three dates remaining on his WWE farewell tour, John Cena will appear at Madison Square Garden one last time on the November 17 episode of Raw.

While the new Intercontinental Champion has confirmed that he will be in action on the show, it’s not yet known who he will be competing against.

Despite that mystery, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has confirmed that Cena will be opening tomorrow night’s show.

In a video posted to Twitter by WWE, Pearce shared a rundown of the show, saying the following about Cena’s appearance:

“Monday Night Raw comes to you live tomorrow night from the world’s most famous arena: Madison Square Garden. And it does not get any bigger as this will mark the final appearance for the never seen 17 greatest of all time and brand new Intercontinental Champion John Cena. John will kick off the broadcast tomorrow night.”

Also on WWE Raw, the ‘Last Time is Now’ tournament to determine Cena’s final WWE opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event will continue as NXT’s Je’Von Evans faces off with the returning GUNTHER and Solo Sikoa takes on a mystery opponent.

Regarding Sikoa’s opponent, Pearce teased that the WWE audience’s “theories” for who will step up and enter the tournament have been off the mark thus far:

“I’ve got to say it, you the WWE Universe have a ton of theories. Could they all be wrong? So far they are, and that is surprisingly official!”
