John Cena has commented for the first time since winning the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
Thanks to help from Travis Scott, Cena captured his 17th world title, breaking the shared record of 16 that he held with Ric Flair.
In the post-show press conference, Cena was asked a few wuestions on varying topics.
He gave the same deadpan response to all of them, claiming they were “clickbait questions” and refusing to answer them.
He said he sensed a pattern of the media looking for headlines, so he said they’d give them on.
Cena then said:
“Tune into Monday Night Raw to see how I ruin wrestling. And keep in mind, you now are talking to the Last Real Champion.”
That was all he said in the press conference before he left.
One of the questions Cena refused to answer concerned The Rock, who, for those wondering, did not appear at WWE WrestleMania this year.
The only outside interference in the match came from Travis Scott, who celebrated in the ring with Cena afterwards.
