John Cena has named who he believes to be ‘the GOAT’ wrestler turned actor, praising him for his range as an actor.
Cena has followed in the footsteps of a number of top WWE stars in years past and taken the leap into Hollywood, with his new movie Heads of State with Idris Elba set to debut on Prime Video tomorrow.
Cena has been taking part in a publicity tour for the movie, with him and Idris appearing on Complex, where they discussed their various GOATs for different criteria.
When asked who was his GOAT wrestler turned actor, Cena said praised Dave Bautista as the greatest, praising Dave’s range as an actor.
He said:
“I’m gonna give respect where respect is earned; Dave Bautista. The dude has range and now has like transformed his whole body, and the stuff he’s about to do – look out for Dave Bautista. The stuff he’s already done is incredible, but as far as wrestler turned actor with the range, you know me I’m just dick jokes, that’s it. Dave’s got range.”
Cena is currently on his retirement tour, where he reigns as the WWE Champion after defeating Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41.
