Former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena is set to guest star on legendary FOX show, The Simpsons, for season premiere.
At WWE Money In The Bank 2024, John Cena made a surprise appearance to announce that he will be retiring in 2025. Cena has made sporadic appearances for WWE as his Hollywood career has grown over the past few years.
With Cena finishing up filming for Season 2 of Peacemaker, it looks like he will be part of another legendary show’s season premiere.
As announced at San Diego Comic Con (via Variety), John Cena will be among the guest stars for the season premiere of The Simpsons on FOX.
The premiere episode will kick off the animated series’ historic 36th season and will also feature other Hollywood stars, such as Danny DeVito, Conan O’Brien and Tom Hanks.
Whether Cena will be playing himself or another character has not been confirmed at the time of this writing.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart famously appeared as himself in Season 8 of The Simpsons.
