John Cena Goes On Heated Tirade Against WWE Fans, Breaks Silence On Heel Turn

John Cena Goes On Heated Tirade Against WWE Fans, Breaks Silence On Heel Turn WWE

Opening today’s March 17 episode of WWE Raw in Brussels, Belgium was the first appearance from John Cena since his heel turn at Elimination Chamber.

Cena did use his usual entrance music instead of a new song, but was much more stoic on his way to the ring and received heavy boos followed by “John Cena sucks” chants to the tune of his music.

After the music finished, there were then dueling “let’s go Cena/Cena sucks” chants that sounded like they were maybe 40/60 with the “Cena sucks” being the 60.

Cena got a microphone in the ring, but before saying anything, dropped it and teased walking out, which led to more boos.

He then did pick the microphone back up and his first words as a heel were:

“When someone is properly grounded in life, they shouldn’t have to look outside themselves for approval.”

He tweeted that same line earlier today.

He said for 25 years he’s been the victim of an abusive relationship, saying all WWE fans have ever done is be hurtful, bully him and expect him to be their puppet, and to do it all with a smile on his face.

He then added:

“I am not a babyface. I am not a heel. I’m a human being. And each and every one of you has been awful to me.”

Regarding his retirement tour this year, he said:

“I tried one last time to do something nice for you guys, and you ruined it.”

He said the only thing fans are wondering is “what do we get”, and nobody thought to ask him how he feels. He said “you get what you have earned, and what you have earned is nothing.”

Don’t expect a new look and new music for Cena anytime either, as he said the fans don’t deserve that.

Despite the fans being about 40/60 as mentioned earlier, he actually said the “let’s go Cena people” are just as bad as the “Cena sucks” people because they have never actually done anything to support him except make him “the butt of a stupid invisible joke for 15 years and it is not funny”.

He then said he’s breaking up with everybody, including his own fans – but he was then cut off by his WrestleMania 41 opponent, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
