Two top WWE stars have teased matches with wrestling legend John Cena, following rumors that Cena may make an appearance at WrestleMania 39.
In a recent interview with Louis Dangoor of Givemesport, WrestleVotes said that John Cena should be making an appearance at the next WrestleMania, and that he “should be wrestling”.
Now Austin Theory and LA Knight seem to have thrown their hats into the ring should Cena appear at the event, teasing potential match ups on Twitter.
LA Knight retweeted an account which posted pictures of Knight and Cena with the caption “WrestleMania 39 hear me out for a second,” adding the “shifty eyes” emoji to indicate his interest.

Austin Theory simply tweeted a black and white picture of himself squaring up to Cena, taken when Cena made an appearance on WWE Raw earlier this year for his 20th anniversary with the company.

Cena has wrestled a match in every year for WWE since his debut in 2002, though that streak seems to be coming to an end this year as he does not seem to be scheduled for any in-ring appearances during 2022.
