Major John Cena WWE WrestleMania 41 Plans Being ‘Strongly’ Discussed WWE

A new report has revealed that WWE are currently “strongly” discussing major John Cena WWE WrestleMania 41 plans.

John Cena is gearing up for his upcoming retirement tour that will take place over the course of 2025, ending in December with his final match.

With Cena ending his in-ring career, the upcoming WrestleMania 41 will be the final Mania for the 16-time WWE World Champion.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE is “strongly” considering to have John Cena face one of the two world champions to break Ric Flair’s record for most world title reigns at 17. He wrote:

“We do know that the idea of Cena challenging one of the two champions, in an effort to have him break Flair’s record is something strongly talked about, including for Mania.”

The current world champions are Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.

Those two men will face each other to crown the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion this Saturday, November 2 at WWE Crown Jewel.
