John Cena Signs On For ‘Rowdy’ New Role With Action Star

In case you can’t get enough of John Cena, you’re in luck because according to a new report from Variety he is set for a new ‘rowdy’ role!

According to the report, John Cena is set to star in a new film from Warner Brothers entitled, “Killer Vacation”.

While the plot for the film is actually being kept under wraps, the title is suggestive of a holiday gone awry with the casting suggestive of some big meaty men, possibly slapping meat!

With the report writing:

“The pair met on the set of the upcoming conclusions to the “Fast and the Furious” franchise and were looking to take their natural chemistry to another film, sources say.

“Those familiar with the project compared it to fun, splashy adventures like “True Lies.” The “Killer” script was written by Mark and Brian Gunn, and the project will be produced by John Rickard and Peter Safran.

“The film was packaged and set up at the studio before Safran took the reins with James Gunn at WB’s DC Films Unit.”

Momoa no stranger to the DC Universe as he has starred in such films as Aquaman and Dune which also featured another familiar wrestling face in Batista.

John Cena of course is beloved for his role on WWE television and more recently in both the Suicide Squad and Peacemaker franchises, a role that Brian Gunn developed specifically him.
