John Cena’s next television appearance has been announced following his recent WWE return at WrestleMania 40.
John Cena made a surprise cameo in the main event of WrestleMania 40, when he helped fight off Solo Sikoa in the Bloodline Rules main event of the show.
Cena then appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania, where he teamed with the Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz) to defeat Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day.
Cena’s next appearance in WWE remains a mystery, but Cena is set for a big TV appearance on Discovery coming up in July.
Today, Discovery announced that Cena would be the host of the annual Shark Week on the network, kicking off on July 7.
Shark Week’s connections with wrestling have grown in recent years, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson having hosted the event back in 2022, as well as numerous collaborations between Shark Week and AEW, including special episodes of Dynamite.
Former TNA Wrestling star Shark Boy was present at the Shark Week special episode of Dynamite.
