John Cena Post-WWE Retirement Appearance Confirmed

John Cena has confirmed himself for an appearance following his final match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event..

The December 13 WWE show will see John Cena complete his retirement year with a match against GUNTHER.

John Cena recently sat down with Tom Rinaldi for a “candid and wide-ranging interview”, which aired following the December 8 Raw episode.

The soon-to-be-retired WWE star has now confirmed that he will be appearing with Tom Rinaldi once again after December 13.

Taking to Twitter, Cena commented on the professionalism of the host, revealing he “can’t wait” for the return, posting:

“What an honor to share time and conversation with Tom. The epitome of professionalism with insatiable curiosity and the comfort of speaking to a longtime friend.

“I promised him immediately after this conversation I would be back post 12/13 for another. Can’t wait for that and hope you enjoy this as much as I did.”

During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Cena reflected on criticism of his WWE retirement tour.

He would also discuss turning heel for the first time in his WWE career, exploring the criticism that he received from some corners.

Last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw GUNTHER issue a final message to Cena ahead of their match this Saturday.
