WWE Champion John Cena has given a definitive answer on whether he plans to run for President of the United States.
John Cena’s latest movie role saw him play the US President in new action movie Heads of State.
Following the likes of former WWE stars Kane (Glenn Jacobs) and Jesse Ventura having political careers, and The Rock previously stating that he was considering a presidential bid, there has been some speculation about John Cena entering the world of politics.
In an interview with On Demand Entertainment, Cena was asked if this Heads of State role was a “soft launch” for his political career, ahead of potential presidential run.
Cena simply replied:
“Not a chance”
John Cena is currently focused on defending his WWE Championship, which he won from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 in April.
He most recently defended the gold against CM Punk at the June 28 Night of Champions event.
During this same show, Rhodes won the King of the Ring tournament, earning a shot at Cena’s WWE Championship for SummerSlam.
