John Cena Remaining WWE Appearance Plans Update

John Cena Remaining WWE Appearance Plans Update WWE

There has been an update on the remaining announced appearances from Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena before his retirement.

John Cena is currently halfway through his retirement tour, with only 17 dates remaining before he finishes up his career in December.

With only 17 dates left, many will have assumed that most of Cena’s dates had already been planned out, but that is reportedly not the case.

Per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE has yet to have worked out Cena’s exact schedule ahead of his retirement.

He said:

“I think he’s got like 17 dates or something, he doesn’t have many dates left.

“And the astonishing thing was, I was told that WWE – maybe they have by now, this was about two weeks ago – they had not worked out his exact schedule of dates leading to the end.

“I figured when he announced, ‘Hey, I’m done’, and they publicly said it was like 36 dates, or whatever the announcement was for 2025, I figured they just worked backwards and figured out the dates and had it all done at the beginning of the year.

“But I was told that wasn’t the case, they’re still figuring out what his last dates are gonna be.”

Cena is set to compete in a match on tonight’s WWE SmackDown show, when he faces off against Ron Killings (R-Truth).
