John Cena Sends Heartfelt Message Ahead Of Final WWE Match WWE

John Cena has sent a heartfelt message to the WWE locker room, staff and the fans that have watched him over the years, ahead of his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

This weekend will see 17-time world champion John Cena call time on his 23 year WWE career, as he wrestles GUNTHER in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington D.C.

Ahead of the match Cena appeared as a guest on The Pat McAfee Show and discussed the stars such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar paying tribute to him in a video posted to WWE’s YouTube channel on Thursday.

During the show Cena said it “means the world” to see his peers paying tribute to him, but expressed in a Twitter post afterwards that “no one does it alone”.

Expressing gratitude to the WWE locker room and fans at home, Cena wrote:

Both @PatMcAfeeShow and I have shared a similar sentiment many times before: No one does it alone.

So grateful for all of the time spent with my fellow @WWE Superstars, every fan who’s ever been there live AND watched at home, to the HUGE family behind the camera that make us look better than we are.
