John Cena Sends Message To Boy Who Saved Sister’s Life

John Cena has responded to the boy who stated that watching Cena on Nickelodeon taught him how to save his choking sister.

Recently a boy named Jaxson made the news after helping his sister when she was choking on food. Jaxson credited John Cena for teaching him what to do in that serious situation.

Speaking with WNEP in Luzerne County, PA, Jaxson explained that during an episode of The Substitute, Cena showed how to save somebody who’s choking. Jaxson remembered this lesson, calmly assisting his sister when food blocked her airways.

Cena thanked Jaxson in a touching video, calling the young hero an inspiration. Commending Jaxson for his quick thinking, Cena stated that this story touched his heart.

Here is the full quote:

“Hey Jaxson, this is 16-time WWE champ and Peacemaker John Cena saying hello. Now I heard a story about you, and it really touched my heart. A story that in a time of crisis, you were brave enough to take action. Doing so, you saved your little sister’s life. I wanted to commend you because the actions of a true hero are those who do act in a time of crisis.”

“Usually, when bad things happen, one of the toughest things for all of us to do is to take action. You jumped right in helped out the best you could. Doing so, you saved your sister’s life. I really want to say thank you for being you, Jaxson. Thank you for being an inspiration; thank you from all of us.”

Right now, John Cena is focusing on projects away from WWE. Not competing since his 2020 showdown with The Fiend, Cena is currently anticipating the release of his latest film, The Suicide Squad, set to release in August.

On the topic of wrestling, Shaquille O’Neal has asked Cena for pointers after his AEW Dynamite debut. You can read Cena’s response here.
