Joe Hendry has teased inviting WWE legend John Cena to TNA Wrestling in the event he wins the TNA World Championship.
Ahead of his major title challenge at this weekend’s TNA Bound for Glory pay-per-view, fan favorite Joe Hendry has thrown out an intriguing hypothetical.
Joe Hendry told Sports Central LA that he would be remiss to not invite WWE megastar John Cena to TNA Wrestling.
Hendry said:
“Let’s put it this way. If I can get my hands on the TNA World Championship, what kind of champion would I be if I didn’t invite John Cena to cross the line into TNA Wrestling.
“That’s just hypothetical.”
Hendry challenges Nic Nemeth (formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in WWE) at the upcoming Bound For Glory event.
Bound for Glory is set for this coming Saturday, October 26, 2024 from Detroit, Michigan.
What is not hypothetical is that John Cena plans to make the rounds on his 2025 farewell tour with WWE.
Already announcing that he will be participating at Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, Cena has also vowed that WrestleMania 41 will be his last as a competitor.
