John Cena & Travis Scott WWE Potential Creative Plans Revealed WWE

Potential WWE creative plans for John Cena and Travis Scott have been revealed courtesy of a new report.

After Travis Scott’s crucial role in helping John Cena secure his record-breaking 17th world championship at WrestleMania 41, we now potentially know what could be next for the pair’s new allegiance.

As reported by Cory Hays of PW Nexus, a pitch has been made in WWE for Cena and Scott to work a tag team match together at some point in 2025, however, these plans are not yet set in stone.

Taking to Twitter, Hays wrote:

I’ve been informed that there is a pitch for John Cena and Travis Scott to work a tag team match together at some point this year.

Nothing concrete as of right now

The alliance of Scott and Cena first came together at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 in March, where Cena turned heel and attacked his WrestleMania 41 opponent Cody Rhodes at the instruction of The Rock.

While Cena, Scott and The Rock would proceed to physically attack Rhodes after this turn, we didn’t see any further appearances from Scott until Cena’s match with Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night Two.

Much to the surprise of many fans The Rock did not appear at WrestleMania 41 however, and has since commented on his absence from both the event and the angle between Cena and Rhodes – click here for full details.

As for Cena’s immediate creative plans – the 17-time champion was attacked by Randy Orton on the Raw after WrestleMania 41, seemingly setting up a feud between the two veterans heading into Backlash 2025 on May 10.

We will provide updates on Scott and Cena’s future WWE creative plans as more updates become available.
