WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has sent a message to John Cena ahead of the 17-time world champion’s retirement match.
John Cena’s WWE career is almost over, with “The Champ” set to step away from the ring for good following his bout against GUNTHER at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
A number of notable names have posted messages on social media for Cena in the lead-up to his final in-ring outing, including his father, John Cena Sr, and his first WWE main roster opponent, Kurt Angle.
Triple H has now taken to Twitter to share his own message for the retiring star, ahead of the December 13 event.
The WWE Chief Content Officer wrote:
So many incredible in-ring moments over the last 20+ years…let’s make the final one tonight! #ThankYouCena
Triple H and John Cena shared the ring numerous times over the years, with the duo last facing off in singles action at WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018.
