John Cena Vs. Cody Rhodes Confirmed For WWE WrestleMania 41

John Cena vs Cody Rhodes in an Undisputed WWE Championship match is confirmed for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

The final match at tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber show was the men’s Elimination Chamber match to determine Cody Rhodes’ challenger for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.

The six participants in the match were John Cena, CM Punk, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest.

McIntyre was first eliminated by Priest, before Priest was then eliminated by Logan Paul.

Paul was then pinned by CM Punk, leaving the final three as Seth Rollins. John Cena and Punk.

The story of the three-way really was that Rollins wanted to get his hands on Punk, and actually ended up getting annoyed at Cena for getting in the way of that.

In one-on-one exchanges with both men, Punk kicked out of an Attitude Adjustment from Cena and a Curb Stomp by Seth Rollins.

Shortly after the failed pin from the Curb Stomp, Rollin was eliminated by Punk after consecutively being hit with a Cena AA and a Punk GTS.

That meant the final two came down to John Cena and CM Punk, who both kicked out of each other’s finishers early in their exchange.

It turns out Rollins was still in the cage though, and he landed another Curb Stomp on Rollins, which Cena took advantage of by locking Punk in an STF straight after, leading to CM Punk tapping out and Cena scoring the win.

Cena will now challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 in April.

After Cena’s win, Rhodes came to the ring to join Cena – Cena said he respects Rhodes but it’s going to be a “throwdown” for the title.

Then, they were both joined in the ring by The Rock – accompanied by Travis Scott – as Cody Rhodes makes his decision as to whether he’ll “sell his soul” to The Rock and become “Rock’s Champion”.
