John Cena Reacts To Former WWE Rival Dressing Up As Him WWE

17-time world champion John Cena has reacted to WWE star Kevin Owens dressing up as him for a recent event at Walt Disney World.

Photos have been doing the rounds on social media this week of Kevin Owens dressed as one of his biggest WWE rivals.

Owens was spotted in full John Cena attire for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a Halloween event at Walt Disney World where guests are encouraged to wear costumes.

John Cena has now given a nod to this moment, sharing one of these photos on his Instagram account.

In the photo which Cena posted – which you can view below – Kevin Owens is in Cena’s yellow Indianapolis Farewell Tour shirt, wearing the matching cap.

Owens is holding a Starbucks drink in the photo, which has “John” written on the cup.

As always with John Cena’s Instagram, this post was shared “without explanation, for your interpretation.”

John Cena and Kevin Owens’ WWE rivalry is fondly remembered by many WWE fans, with Owens scoring an upset victory over Cena in his televised main roster debut match at Elimination Chamber 2015.

The duo faced off a number of times following that, with the last time they were in a match against one another seeing Cena and Bobby Lashley defeat Owens and Elias at Super ShowDown 2018.

Cena and Owens most recently shared the ring on the December 30, 2022 edition of SmackDown, teaming together to defeat Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

Unfortunately, it’s very unlikely that they’ll ever share the ring in a match again, with John Cena to retire in December, and Kevin Owens out of action due to a serious neck injury.
