A big Money in the Bank 2025 match has reportedly been pitched for Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena.
This weekend sees John Cena take on R-Truth at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, FL in a non-title match, but a new report has revealed what could be up next for the ‘Last Real Champion’.
According to PWInsider, one pitch made for Money in the Bank is for a six-man tag team match, pitting Cena, Logan Paul and Travis Scott against the team of The Usos and Cody Rhodes.
The idea of Cena and Scott teaming together is something that has been previously reported, with PWInsider recently noting as such, while WrestleVotes today revealed that Scott is planned to make an appearance at Money in the Bank on June 7 in Los Angeles.
While not mentioned in this latest update, Bad Bunny was another major celebrity name who has also previously been pitched to be involved in what would be Scott’s WWE in-ring debut.
Cody Rhodes has been off WWE TV since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship John Cena at WrestleMania 41, but is featured on the poster for the Money in the Bank, raising expectation regarding his return ahead of the event.
We will provide updates on WWE’s plans for Money in the Bank as they become available.
